- The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (which is the most ACC oriented newspaper in print), has a preview of the top RBs in the conference. I didn't expect to see ANY BC guys on the list, not because they aren't good, but because under Dana "Try-it-again" Bible, they didn't have an opportunity. Fortunately Andre Callendar gets the nod in the Honorable Mentions category:
Andre Callender, Jr. Boston College. Callender was the second-leading rusher on his team last season, but he will thrive as a runner and a receiver in the offense of new coordinator Steve Logan.
See the article here. - Also, Sportspredictions.com has their ACC preview. Not exactly the gleaming review I would expect, but I think they chose the wrong blogger to review the Eagles. Check the article here.
- Finally the ACC-SEC Blog puts BC at the bottom of their list as well, ranking us a whopping 5th out of 6th in the Atlantic division:
5) Boston College – The Eagles have 17 returning starters which ordinarily gives a guaranteed increase in wins the next year. The problem with making that prediction is that BC has a tough road schedule and draws the 3 best teams from the Coastal division; Virginia Tech, Miami, and Georgia Tech. Boston College will see improvement but their record won’t illustrate it.
